Waterproof rating: IP65 or higher is good for outdoor walls (sprays, rain). If exposed to heavy storms, IP66 or IP67 is safer.

Brightness (Lumens): If it’s a porch or pathway, you might want 400-800 lm. For accent lighting or just marking, 100-300 lm may suffice.

Battery capacity: Bigger battery = runs longer at night. Check mAh or Ah rating. Lithium batteries tend to perform better.

Solar panel quality: Mono-crystalline panels are more efficient. Also check tilt/angle of the solar panel; if it’s adjustable that’s a plus.

Material / build: Aluminum or good quality plastic; lens made from tempered glass or durable acrylic. Look for rust resistance, UV resistance.
